On the premise that the cargo is transported by a specified bonded transporter and special customs clearance measures such as the “Special Consignment Import Declaration System,” which allows you to file tax declarations after receiving the cargo, you can also take an advantage of the “Special Consignment Export Declaration,” which allows you to file export declarations outside of bonded areas, and the “Liberalization of Declaration Offices,” which allows you to file import/export declarations to any customs director regardless of where the cargo is stored. Therefore, it shortens the lead time for importing and exporting the cargo.

The AEO system is a system that provides customs approval and certification to businesses that have established for cargo security management and compliance under the guidelines of the World Customs Organization. Ensuring the security and efficiency in international logistics has become essential since the terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001, and offers measures to ease and simplify customs procedures. The AEO system was introduced for exporters in March 2006, and was expanded to importers in April 2007, warehouse operators in October, customs brokers in April 2008, and manufacturers in July 2009.
